Today I had a day out with the kids at an amusement park in Leicestershire. It was a great day - I loved it. I spent the day playing with my kids, a friend and her lad. I didn't think things could get much better.
Then I saw a group of Brownies and I wondered if, the very wise and wonderful, Mrs K, was their leader. Mrs K. being, just, one of the people that I have met through this social media thingy-me-jig who have provided words of wisdom, friendship and support to me through the good times and the bad.
I, sometimes, question whether it is wise to place my inner most thoughts on the internet but I then remember that I love my blog and the people that I have been lucky enough to meet because of it!
Thank you all!
Did you ask? I can't really post my innermost (oops I typed innermoist!) thoughts on my blog as my mum reads it! But I know what you mean, it's fab when you get lovely comments in your little community. For a person who would love to go back to the Miss Marple in St Mary Mead age, I do like virtual communities too. -HMx
ReplyDeleteI try not to over think the wisdom of putting all the my thoughts on the internet..:)..I tend to do now and think it over later!!:)
ReplyDeleteIf it was Mrs K then she has joined another Brownie pack without telling me :)
ReplyDeleteIt is good isn't it? Yes there are disadvantages - everything has a downside but for the majority of the time it is good. Keep on trucking!
ReplyDeleteCrikey.... I don't check your mad scribblings for a couple of days and I find that you accepted a new job, then the new job planned on renting you out to your old job, then your old job kicked out some of the main perpetrators of unrest, and now you're going to stay in your old job and will have to break the news to your new job.... have I got that right? Sooooo complicated.
ReplyDeleteI admire those Brownie and Guides and Cubs and Scout leaders. One of my good friends was a Cubs leader when our boys were small, and continued doing it even when the boys were teenagers.... such dedication.
And by the way, I'd love to be co-driving in that Ferrari, just keep it on the road, please!
Gosh, I'm neither wise nor wonderful but it feels fantastic to be called both and I appreciate you giving me that feeling. I'm guessing you've been to TL today. I love the indoor firing the balls pit there. Did the Brownie leader look suspiciously like Liz Hurley but in a uniform? No? It wasn't me then! LOL
ReplyDeleteYep, yep, yep. We ARE pretty awesome, aren't we? ;-)
ReplyDeleteAwwwww
ReplyDeleteOh! And there I was thinking that I was the only Mrs K !!! I agree with your sentiments though and blogging has been a great way for me to let it all out and to meet lovely people ...... like you !!!
ReplyDeleteYou are, of course, a very Special Mrs. K.
ReplyDelete(Although, you both are!)
I disagree - you are both wise and wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou summarised my week perfectly Shammy!
ReplyDeleteI fully intend to!
ReplyDeleteShe may well have!
ReplyDeleteI think that is possibly the best thing to do!
